Well Born Baby is the creation of friends Christina and Elizabeth. They met shortly after the birth of their first children. They quickly bonded over their parenting philosophies and love for natural parenting. This duo committed themselves to educating and supporting moms in their birth and breastfeeding experiences. Above all, they ensure a more natural approach to childbirth and parenting.

Well Born Baby provides a number of support services to families, including childbirth and breastfeeding education. Whether you’re a first-time parent or a seasoned parent, these classes can help prepare you for the arrival of a new baby. Childbirth and breastfeeding classes provide knowledge and confidence to families as they navigate the challenges of birth, breastfeeding, and taking care of a newborn.
Doula services are offered to make sure that birth is a positive, empowering experience. Doulas create a safe, comfortable environment for women to welcome their new baby into the world. Postpartum and newborn care from doulas include plenty of birth and postpartum support to ensure a smooth transition into parenthood. Birth doulas offer early labor support, birth plan implementation, continuous emotional and physical support during labor, training a labor partner, pain relief techniques, comfort measures, massage, relaxation techniques, and postpartum support. Birth doula packages at Well Born Baby include private, in-home preparation, unlimited group prenatal gatherings, phone and email support, a birth doula on call 24/7, one in-home postpartum visit, pregnancy education, professional referrals, photography during labor and delivery, and Ask The Experts phone and text support.
Specialty
Well Born Baby offers lactation education to support families in their breastfeeding journey. These classes discuss the benefits of breastfeeding, breastmilk composition, the letdown reflex, latch, positioning, hand expression, nipple care, latch problems, hunger cues, milk expression, pump parts, introducing a bottle, building a “freezer stash,” handling stored milk, and much more. The lactation classes can be done in person or online. Private one-on-one lactation education is also offered through Google Meet or right in a client’s own home.
Childbirth classes are also available at Well Born Baby and are designed to offer families a well-rounded, comprehensive curriculum. These classes include a blend of lectures, demonstrations, and practice. Topics include preparing for labor, stages of labor, birthing options, coping mechanisms, pushing, birth, breathing techniques, postpartum health, and newborn care. This class is designed to help parents feel calm and confident when the big day approaches.
Clients of Well Born Baby can also enjoy an online blog written by doulas. Topics of the blog include how to move labor along naturally, what to do if your baby is breech, how to pamper new moms, the pros and cons of epidurals, how to burp a newborn, and how to swaddle a baby. These articles always come short and informative. Perfect for new parents who want to educate themselves in preparation for welcoming their new baby into the world.
